Zachos Varfis is an Athens based architect focusing on combining DIY with craftsmanship and digital fabrication.

He enjoys working with existing/derelict spaces and buildings and local craftsmen and suppliers, building relationships and skills from project to project.

He is the founder and designer of Latraac, a social skateboard project built inside a 19th century courtyard space in Kerameikos, Athens. The Latraac garden and cafe/shed were developed using low cost materials and DIY, while the Latraac bowl was built entirely using digital fabrication and CNC routed plywood sections.
